Hi! I’m OLAF!

Meet Olaf! This good looking dude is a diamond in the rough. He is full of boundless energy and will need a healthy outlet for it to satisfy his body and mind. Olaf is incredibly smart, and will benefit greatly from training. He is very treat-motivated so that will definitely help with his training.

He is a goofy, playful guy.

Olaf would do best in a home familiar with strong German Shepherd personalities. He would likely enjoy another large playful dog as a companion, after proper introductions, but probably wouldn’t do well with small dogs or kitties.

Olaf has had some experience with crate-training and did well. He is also potty-trained.

Olaf had a bit of a front limp when he came to us so we did a full ortho-xray series of his hips and elbows. The diagnosis was Panosteitis, which is a temporary, painful bone inflammation in young, large-breed dogs, often called “growing pains”. Our orthopedic vet said his hips look good and advised repeating x-rays in another year or so to make sure everything remains good with his hips once he has finished growing.

Olaf is up to date on vaccinations, HW negative, neutered, has had a full blood panel, and is microchipped.
