SCARLETT – Pitbull X – Female – 2 Y
Right? We know … that face … an arrow to the heart! Scarlett is such an incredibly beautiful girl and she is just as gorgeous on the inside as she is on the outside! Scarlett came to us as a stray — witnesses actually saw her being kicked out of car on the west end of Billings. She was microchipped but it was not registered to any owner. After doing some legwork and a little bit of doggie CSI — we were able to trace her back to a shelter in New Mexico. They gave us the name of the man who adopted her who was also from NM. Some more digging turned up that her owner had moved to Montana but was incarcerated. We can only figure that whomever was watching her grew weary of their duties and dumped her.
Not sure who could dump this sweet, sweet, sweet and did we mention sweet girl? Scarlett is a ton of awesomeness packed into that little, stout 45 lb. body! Don’t get us started on those ears and the heart for her nose — cuteness overload! Scarlett does fine with other dogs and her foster family takes her every where with them so she travels wonderfully! They include her on all of their excursions and have discovered that she loves water, swimming and romping in the tall grass (please see the video in the comments, you don’t want to miss this!) Scarlett adores children and family life — we think she would prefer to have her family surround her as much of the day as possible. Foster mom says she can be naughty (counter surfer), some chewing and still needs work on training. Also, her recall is a little weak when she is distracted. Super smart though and really wants to learn and please. Not a wild pup at all …. Scarlett is a quiet, chill dog!
Spayed, up to date on shots, wormed and microchipped — How can anyone resist that face? Scarlett will require a fenced yard with hopefully a family with some children — she can then assume the role of “nanny dog” as most Pitties are so well known. She is our “Queen of Hearts” and the right family will be so lucky to add her to their home.
