Hi! I'm MILA!

Hi! I’m MILA!

This blue-eyed beauty is looking for a new home. Her owner had Mila DNA tested through Embark which is how we know her breed make-up as she was a stray rescued from the streets. Mila has had some formal training and will make someone a wonderful companion. Her owner did a fantastic job writing Mila’s bio so we are just going to copy and paste what she wrote to us about Mila.

“This is Mila, I have had her since April 2022 when I rescued her off the street. She is most likely just under a year old, but I’m unsure. Mila is mostly husky/pitbull, with a sprinkle of boxer. She has had tummy issues since I got her, but the vet is not concerned at this time. She has a sensitive tummy and should be watched to make sure she doesn’t eat anything she’s not supposed to.

Mila is very well-behaved for a puppy. She went through a 2-week training at Paws and Claws, where she received a training collar (I have not been keeping up with the training, but she is smart and will most likely be able to jump back into it). Mila knows to sit at the door and wait to be invited inside, she sits and waits for the “okay” to eat her meals, and she can heel (if she is not distracted). She does love to hop and greets people by jumping on them. Mila is super smart and observant, but she is STUBBORN. She is also dramatic at times and will let you know when she has something to say. Most of the time, she is a cuddle bug and loves hugs and kisses. She also enjoys being carried like a baby (or a princess).

Mila is kennel-trained and sleeps in her kennel. She is potty trained, although accidents might happen every now and then. If she gets regular walks and can be outside every few hours, accidents are very unlikely. Mila currently lives with a cat and dog, and she loves them both so much! Although she loves to dominate during play, she is very sweet and will never harm her sisters. She has a lot of energy and loves going to the dog park to run around! If she gets into mud, good luck, because she will scream in the bath. Mila would thrive with a fenced-in yard. She would be happy with other furry siblings or alone, as long as she gets her energy out. I am unsure how she is with kids, she did fine with my little 7-year-old brother, but she is high energy and jumps. I bet she could be trained not to.”

Mila is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and will be microchipped prior to adoption.
