This big sweet gal is Marlee. What a face!!! She really enjoys being around people and is great with kids. Marlee still has a ton of puppy exuberance so it would be best that play with little children is supervised so she doesn’t bowl them over. She could also benefit from some training as she can get herself into trouble when she is alone- typical puppy…

Marlee is very lovey and really thinks she is a lap dog. She knows how to “sit” and “shake” for treats.

The one no-no for Marlee would be kitties in the home.

This smart cookie is crate-trained, potty-trained, and walks fairly well on leash. She does get very excited when she sees other doggos as she loves loves loves to play with them!

Marlee is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and has had her stomach stapled to help prevent bloat which can be common and fatal in these deep-chested dogs. Gastropexy does not prevent bloat, the tack helps keep the intestine from twisting in the event of bloat, and buys more time to get treatment. It is still important to feed etc. to cater to the proclivity and that people know the signs and symptoms despite the tack.
