Hi! I'm LUCY!

Hi! I’m LUCY!

Lucy and her sister Maggie (posted separately) are looking for families of their own.

These girls were rescued with two other littermates from a culvert in Pryor at approximately 1.5 months old. They were close to starvation and not at all familiar with human contact. They are healthy now, and have received their first few sets of vaccinations.

Luckily a woman with a huge heart rescued these precious pups and has been working diligently with them to help them become good canine citizens. These pups have come SO far and are soaking up training like cute little sponges. Lucy gets very excited about going on walks and is learning to walk on leash and to wear a harness. She is very playful with the woman’s other dogs. Lucy wants to bond with her person, having learned that human attention is a wonderful thing and actively seeks it out. She loves being petted and gives lots of sweet kisses. Lucy is gaining confidence every day and thoroughly enjoys exploring the great big world on her walks. She is very playful and really enjoys playing in the water. This silly bean gets a kick out of blowing bubbles with her nose in the water- Ha ha!

These pups would benefit from a calm canine sibling to learn from. They are young and impressionable so time is of the essence in getting these gals into permanent homes. They deserve to continue to learn about all of the good things in life that human companionship can provide.

Lucy will be microchipped and will have received age-appropriate vaccinations at the time of her adoption. Her mandatory spay will also be covered in the fee paid for her adoption.
