LILLY and PUPPIES – AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG/GERMAN SHEPHERD – MALE/FEMALE – 2 MONTHS

Who needs a dose of puppy breath and extreme cuteness???

Look no further than these seven chunky little potatoes!

A few months back we took in a sweet stray Australian Cattle Dog that was being held by the Fergus County Sheriff’s Dept as no one had come to claim her.

When we arrived to bring her home, imagine our surprise when we found out that she was pregnant! The Sheriff’s Dept. had taken her to their vet for tick removal and vaccines so she would be ready to go and the vet thought it would be wise to do an ultrasound as they had an inkling she might have little buns in the oven.

They were correct!

Fast forward to about six weeks ago and sweet Lilly gave birth to seven puppies! Of course we were extremely curious as to what kind of traveling salesman the father was so we did an Embark DNA test. Turns out papa was a purebred German Shepherd! The little pumpkins all favor their dad in looks at this point. The DNA test also told us that mama is a purebred Australian Cattle Dog.

These cute little monkeys will be available for adoption in two weeks when they are 8 weeks old. We would love to have homes all lined up for them to go to when the time comes.
