Hi! I’m JASPER!

Here’s a great bio written by Jasper’s (aka Tooter) foster mama:

This boy is the goodest of them all! Despite his rough start in life, Jasper has made significant strides in manners, leash walking, food aggression, and overall learning how awesome it is to be a dog free of life on a chain. We call him Tooter because he farts and he’s surprised by all of them. Jasper does well in a kennel for several hours at a time, especially when he’s provided with his Benebone! He’s learning to respect cats. Although he doesn’t hurt them, he will chase if they’re running. He responds well to verbal correction. Because of his previous situation, he eats food too fast and we’ve corrected this with a slow feed bowl. We can place our hand in the bowl and take away from him without any growling! He’s doing great with taking treats nicely. He just learned how to air catch a treat and he’s super excited about it! Jasper loves all members of our family—kids, adults, dogs, cats! He’ll warm your lap, cuddle in bed, and is always ready for an adventure!

Our vet doesn’t expect Jasper to get much bigger, but he will likely fill out some. He’s currently 25 pounds and is at a good healthy weight.

Jasper is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations and microchipped.
