Hi! I’m BO!

We adopted this good boy out to a wonderful home with a canine sister a year ago.

It is breaking his owner’s heart but due to her declining health, she can’t take care of Bo properly any more.

We need to find either a foster home, or even better, a new forever home for this sweet pupper ASAP.

This good-looking boy is looking for a home where he has a job to do. He hasn’t done any ranch work but definitely has a strong herding instinct. He is good with children but does try to herd them, so a home with older children would be best for Bo. He is a cuddler and does enjoy a good snuggle with his people.

Bo is very intelligent and knows basic commands like sit, paw, lay down, go outside, and also if you put your hand out facing his nose and say “nose” he will boop your hand with his nose. He knows the word “couch” meaning go to the couch and lay down. We think this boy is a diamond in the rough, just waiting for a little polish to shine.

He is a bit of a playful thief and enjoys the game of taking things left on the floor like socks, hair ties, etc. and hiding them.

Bo is house-trained but not crate-trained. He knows how to use a doggy door.

He has had some exposure to cats, although not much, but has not shown aggression when around them. Bo is choosy about which male dogs he likes or dislikes.

Bo is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
