Bill Edwards Named Honorary Chairman of Operation Homeward Bound

Bill Edwards has been named honorary campaign chairman of Operation Homeward Bound - the capital campaign for the Rimrock Humane Society. Bill accepted this position with the hopes of being able to assist the Humane Society with achieving their goal of raising $200,000 for the building of a humane facility and supporting their mission in Musselshell County to help homeless and neglected companion animals.

“Bill has been a respected leader in this community for many years,” says Sandy Church, President of the Rimrock Humane Society. “We were so honored and thrilled that he accepted this position. Bill will be an integral part of this campaign’s success and the Humane Society’s future.”

The Honorary Chairman is selected because he or she is a well-known, dedicated and respected leader who inspires the confidence and support of others. This person is a spokesperson and advocate for the Rimrock Humane Society and its goals, helps enlist the participation of others, attends campaign events and demonstrates personal leadership and generosity.

“I am very excited and proud to be the honorary campaign chairman,” Bill stated. “I will be looking forward to working with the Rimrock Humane Society board in their endeavors to raise money to build a shelter for the Roundup area.”

Bill Edwards has been a Roundup resident for most of his life. A 25 year business owner of State Farm Insurance, Bill is well known for effectively assisting people in this community with their insurance needs. His impressive resume includes serving on the City Council for twelve years (President for the last three), President of the Chamber of Commerce back in the 80’s, Fair Board member and is currently Vice-Chairman of the Musselshell Valley Community Foundation. On top of that, we all know his wonderful efforts with his local radio station and the commitment he puts forth bringing Roundup Panther sports broadcasting and school events into our homes.
