The Rimrock Humane Society has teamed up with Specialty Roast Coffee out of Seattle, to offer to our supporters a chance to purchase
great coffee and assist the RHS as well. Specialty Roast’s mission is to deliver fresher, better-tasting coffee and do ‘a world of good’ by sharing their profits with non-profits like the RHS. They will donate $2 per pound for every pound you buy online. Your annual use of 2 lbs. a month could mean $48 to the RHS. Thanks to the Internet, they roast when you order, for fresher, better tasting coffee. Store-bought coffee is typically 3-4 months old. A few of our supporters have tried this coffee and say it is the freshest, best tasting coffee they’ve had.

If you have to buy coffee, why not buy Specialty Roast? It’s fresher and costs less than Starbucks plus helps us with our fundraising as well. What a win/win situation!

Warren Sly, founder of Specialty Roast, helped introduce Perrier Water into this country in 1977, creating the first bottled water and today’s $6B US water industry. He was challenged by a Catholic priest to sell coffee and give away the profits to feed the poor. Since then the company has added other causes when asked (like the RHS). Rather than create their own brand, they innovate to help worthy causes sustain their own.

In most Montana regions, CFC is the only authorized solicitation of employees in the federal workplace on behalf of charities. State Employees Charitable Giving Campaign (SECGC) Rimrock Humane Society is designated as a certified agency of the SECGC. Donate Your Vehicle
A car donation is one of the simplest ways to make a gift to the Rimrock Humane Society and help all the animals in our care. Cars, trucks, motorcycles and recreational vehicles are gladly accepted. Montana State law requires that you have the title of the vehicle. The IRS permits you to take a charitable tax deduction on your federal income tax return for the fair market value of the donated vehicle. You may use the IRS Publication 561, "Determining the Value of Your Donation" or The Kelley Blue Book to substantiate the fair market value. If the fair market value of the vehicle is greater than $500, the IRS will expect you to fill out Form 8283, "Non-cash Charitable Contributions."
